A web application for travel documents and services abroad with a back office for applications
Task
order services from a phone and track applications in one place
Client side: a responsive interface, an application form with service selection, document photo upload from a phone and instant online payment on submission. Back office: viewing and filtering applications, document storage, processing statuses, manual edits and comments.
Plus a central API between the front end and the back office, and room to scale to new services.
Solution
one code base with the website and an extensible form architecture
The web application shares a code base with the main website and is equally convenient on phones and desktops. Forms for different services plug into the common interface with minimal changes, and every submitted application automatically becomes an order with online card payment.
At handover the application supported:
- travel insurance;
- student visas for studying in Schengen countries;
- Green Card motor insurance;
- Finnish Saunalahti SIM cards;
- payment of fines issued in Finland;
- bank transfers abroad.

Result
The project is still running; a minimal team handles a large flow of applications.
Some services lost relevance over time for external reasons, but the architecture allowed adding and removing them without rework.

Solutions for a family farm
ilorantafarm.ruIn this project we built more than an online store: the storefront is combined with a full web application for orders, products, counterparties, couriers, source documents and cash accounting.
For the farm's own couriers we created a courier web app for marking orders and keeping the cash register. The main criteria were simplicity and convenience on any mobile device on the road. Judging by the feedback from users and owners, we got it right ;)
